Amy rose is a young and childish Merhog. When in her 'kid time' ;or what ever her big brother calls it; she likes to splash and mess with her fiends. But most of the time she's annoying scourge's about sonic.Other then acting like a kid she is vary shy. It goes with her stuttering. When he meets new people she can't keep it together. Amy also easily startled by loud noises, which tells you why she doesn't like the city or big kingdoms.
Once Amy hits the water her rosy pink legs transform in to a lavender fin. Oddly since she's mostly with a fin this doesn't hurt. Now the legs are a different story when she transforms from fin to legs that hurts. It hurts so much that her legs tremble and shake.
Even though she is weak slow and wobbly on land she is fast and agile in the water. she secretly races with ships. Same with fishes. Oddly if you don't find Amy with her brother she's ether with fishes or being with the pirate caption sonic.

Khet: Yeah. Haven't felt it for thousand years though.
A rather large, shaggy black dog was suddenly on the empty beach at night, running through the sand and through the water that was washing up along the shore. The moonlight was shining and giving little light to him. His yellow glowing eyes were easily spotted in the dark though.
Amy was waving in the water but she had not seen the black dog come. She was asleep, only be be awaken and cried out in pain when they had stomped on her fin tail. She recoiled and had tears forming since her pain tolerance was very low.
Tenebris hadn't honestly even seen the mermaid laying there by the shore. He quickly tried to stop, falling forward as he lost his balance and flopping into the sand. The hound got up, turning around to see the mermaid now in pain over by the water. Slowly, he walked to her with his ears hung low and a soft whine of apology. Sand now covering his black fur as well, even a bit on his nose.
